Service Today

Gave Coach Flannigan's son a ride to the high school today since I had to go over the high school for off season anyway. Our off season is going well, kids are working hard. Excited about the possibilities.

Good night and God Bless.

Stress, Anger, and a Difference

Been really stressed and need to finish the Semester and been easily angered over little things. Really want to make a difference in my job.

I do know the answer and that it lies in the word and prayer. "Be still and know that I am God" says the Father. In my prayer time what God keeps bringing me back is to quieten my mind. I am too busy and I have a hard time of stopping my mind from running 90 to nothing. God says stop the noise and listen for my will!

Tonight went to Youth and served at Youth. Yesterday I helped Kim get her caserole ready that she cooked for the new teacher meeting this morning as a way of service to the new teachers at the high school.

God Bless,

Whoever Desires to Love Life and See Good Days

The world says to that whoever desires to love life and see good days should acquire things, do what feels good, and find ways to entertain yourself. That is not what the word of God says about it. 1 Peter 3:10-12 says that whoever desires to love life and see good days should:
1. Keep His Tongue from Evil
2. Does Not Speak Deceit
3. Turn Away from Evil and Do Good
4. Seek Peace and Pursue It

Father God,
Help me to control my tongue particularly when I loose patience with the boys or my students. Help me to always speak the truth especially when it is not easy or convenient. Help me to turn away from the things that I know not to be good, specifically the areas that I continue to trip up in. Help me to seek peace and pursue it when possible.
In Jesus Name Amen

It is a wonderful Sunday and I have escaped to my bedroom for some quiet time. My service this morning was to do sound at church. When we take time for God it makes a difference.

Praise God and May God Bless You,

Mark
